In this French parkour version of Escape From New York, writer Luc Besson teams an undercover cop and a criminal in a race against time to stop a terrorist bombing in the ghetto of Paris in the “futuristic” year of 2010. There’s lots of fun to be had in the inventive action of this film, and director Pierre Morel would re-team with Besson to bring the Taken franchise to life four years later.
