The United States is a police state. New York City is a walled-in super-max prison. And a dude named Snake has to break into that city-sized prison to rescue the president of the U.S. from the Duke of New York and his many goons. Legendary director John Carpenter made this 1981 dystopian sci-fi adventure story that is (obviously) in the running for greatest “B” movie of all time.
