Tobe Hooper (of Texas Chain Saw Massacre infamy) did a two-fer for genre film producers Golan-Globus in the 1980s — the space vampire flick Lifeforce, which we've featured here on Subspace, and this remake of the 1953 movie about (you guessed it) invaders from Mars starring genre queen Karen Black.
