A comet passes by earth and triggers an instant apocalypse, turning many people to dust and others into murderous zombies in one of the most totally 1980s movies this side of Back to the Future. Notable for having a female-led cast (even though a dude got top billing — what’s up with that?) and being a zombie movie when neither of those things was commonplace.
