Beloved 1990s primetime staple about a scientist, Sam Beckett, who travels through time to various points in the past but can’t return to his own time. The twist here is that he “leaps” into different people from the past, with his consciousness inhabiting their body for a period. While in a given host, Beckett will try to right some historical wrong. So it’s kind of like the X-Men story “Days of Future Past” meets Doctor Who. Scott Bakula plays Beckett, and the great Dean Stockwell plays Al, Beckett’s holographic sidekick.
