This 1990 Universal release recalls some of the 1950s Atomic Age Universal monster movies, particularly the desert-set movies like Tarantula and The Monolith Monsters. Tremors is maybe even a little more fun than those ’50s movies thanks to some impressive practical effects and a game ensemble cast led by Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward.
